WHY GOOD PEOPLE DO BAD THINGS - The Psychology of Evil
Eminent Social Psychologist, Dr. Philip Zimbardo of Stanford University, once said, "The line between good and evil is permeable, and almost anyone can be induced to cross it when pressured by situational forces." As Dr. Zimbardo and other social scientists have shown in a range of experiments, actions we deem as evil, such as cheating, lying, stealing, and worse, don't usually spring from people's character. Most of which originated from the situations they found themselves in. In this 90 minutes FREE talk, Dr. Fred Toke will draw from various research from the fields of psychology, and integrate them with Scriptures from the Bible to help us understand why good people do bad things.
Time to Heal the Rift, Close the Divide, and Live as One People.
